Line Lab

MEET LINE LAB

Line Lab is an augmented reality app that encourages engineering mindsets in young children through hands-on iterative play with just cardboard, ink, and a mobile device.

It is a proposed intervention that emerged through a series of workshops and conversations with D&T educators and students. Various prototypes were play-tested in spaces like Earl’s Court Youth Club, Stratford D-Lab, and Imperial’s Great Exhibition Road Festival (2023).

PRODUCTION

This project was made in collaboration with Xin Wen. I was responsible for digital interaction design and technical validation, and user testing for both of those aspects. This project also explored the production of synthetic datasets that were real-world generalizable.
